Kikuubo Lane, one of the busiest streets in downtown Kampala remains sparsely occupied as Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) go on strike against the rising dollar against the local currency which has in turn increased the cost of operation on July 6, 2011.The traders say shops will be closed until Friday.

  1. Besigye and Co should learn from this. This is what protesting is, NOT throwing stones and disrupting public peace. This is a civil protest, and it will earn the much needed remedy!!!
