KARAMOJA: I took this picture while on assignment in Amudat district. It’s located hundreds of kilometers in the remote great northern Karamoja region. The region still faces a host of challenges. From cattle rustling, limited access to health facilities, drought, famine, high illiteracy rates to diseases among others.

I had only one! One that was soo full of dust that it would be an insult to hand it over to her. But i love the positive outlook she presents.Karamoja has its own story but she presents a very unfamiliar Karamojong look if you ask me..
